I'm so happy to start this blog and offer helpful and fun information for my readers.
Just a little bit about my background. I'm an attorney with a heart for taking risks. I love exploring new systems, businesses, innovative structures and movements. I love building concepts and connecting with people and connecting people to each other.
For five years most of my time was spent in the courtroom advocating on behalf of families and young people on family law matters. Although I enjoyed the thrill of being a trial attorney and all the challenges that came along with it, I found myself often running into a wall when I contemplated what my future would look like if I continued this path. I kept asking myself, am I really helping? Do I want to continue to see the same patterns and need for intervention over and over again? Or, is there something I can do to help people create and build?
Along the way I began working with small business and estate law clients. I assisted people in establishing their business entities and worked with clients on their final life chapter strategies. I loved the fact that I could provide real practical help for my clients to improve businesses and life plans. Researching tax implications, filing forms and creating estate documents can actually be pretty interesting when you know that it will help a real person.
Not to be cliche, but let's just say that "one thing led to another" and here I am running a business of my own, eager to continue to help more entrepreneurs and individuals in their business and estate planning needs.
